MaAuLa introduces you to a musical gem every week!🤯
And for this first edition, we're going to talk about the group Bosko, who make us live as if we were in Louisiana with their Cajun music.💃🏻
A little peculiarity in the group There's a member of The Loire Valley Calypsos, one of the first founders of the MAAuLa label and a member of Western Baklava, a great mix!💥
Cajun music, originating in Louisiana, is a unique blend of Acadian, Creole, and American influences. Renowned artists, such as the Lost Bayou Ramblers, have also performed songs like "Bosco Stomp," illustrating the diversity and richness of this musical genre.
The group will release their first 3-track EP on January 10th 🔜
The title "Stomp de Bosko" from Bosko's first EP, comes directly from an inspiration of the "Bosco Stomp" which is a traditional dance that embodies the festive and community spirit of the Cajun people.
We're putting together one of their live performances for you, so you can enter their world and eagerly await their project, at least as much as we do!
